Website privacy.

How this website and your correspondence with the studio handle information.

Effective and last updated: 2 October 2026.

Who we are

LMC Creative Labs publishes this studio website and the Android games UNDERWAKE and Lord Of The Sticks. For privacy enquiries, contact privacy@lmccreativelabs.com.

Browsing the website

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. It includes an Android closed-beta registration form, described below. You do not need a studio account to browse or register. Fonts come from your device, and artwork and video are served with the site. We do not run advertising scripts or subscribe visitors to a general marketing newsletter.

Cloudflare adds its Web Analytics script to measure page views and page-loading performance. This measurement uses information from your browser about visits and how pages load. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details about the service.

Cloudflare receives request information such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL, and request time to deliver pages, operate its network, and protect the service. Cloudflare may apply security cookies or other controls. Its processing, international transfers, security measures, and retention depend on the hosting service and are described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Registration records are handled separately as described below.

Android closed-beta registration

When registration is available, you can register for the Lord Of The Sticks Android closed beta. We collect the email address you use for Google Play, your confirmation that you have an Android device, your permission to receive email about this beta, the time you register, and the version of the registration notice you accepted. We use this information to manage registrations, provide beta instructions and essential updates, and record your permission. After registration, the website provides steps to join our tester group and accept the test on Google Play. Registering does not automatically enrol you in Google Play testing and does not subscribe you to a general marketing newsletter.

The registration form and database are hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and network information to help distinguish people from automated traffic. We use your IP address transiently for rate limiting and security verification; our registration database does not store your IP address, Turnstile token, browser fingerprint, or device identifier. Cloudflare may process request and security information under its own service terms, and its systems and our email providers may process information outside your country.

Each registration is also privately emailed to our studio inbox so we can review and manage requests. Cloudflare delivers these notifications and our email providers store them. These email copies follow the email-retention policy below.

To join the closed test, you join our official Google Group with the Google account you use on Google Play, then accept the testing invitation on Google Play. Google uses your group membership to determine test eligibility and handles group membership, test opt-in, and app distribution under its Privacy Policy. We can see your group membership and account email as group owners. The member list, group conversations, and posting are restricted to group owners. We use our email providers for essential beta correspondence.

Your Google Group membership is separate from the website registration database. Membership continues until you leave the group or we remove it; the 180-day website record expiry does not automatically end it. You can leave through Google Groups, opt out of testing through Google Play, or contact us to request removal. Joining the group alone does not accept Google's testing invitation or install the game.

Registration records expire after 180 days and are removed from our active database by the next daily cleanup, normally within 24 hours. This applies to invited and uninvited registration records. Temporary exports used to manage tester lists are kept privately and deleted when that work is complete. Provider backups may retain earlier copies for their backup-retention period. Separately held email correspondence follows the email-retention policy below.

You can withdraw your beta-email permission or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@lmccreativelabs.com from the address you registered. We may request proportionate verification before changing records. We will stop beta emails and remove your registration; a verified deletion request also covers notification email copies and our tester-group membership records, subject to a specific legal requirement or unresolved-dispute reason to retain particular information. Removing your group membership may end access to the closed test.

Email and information you send

If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you provide. We use this information to answer enquiries, investigate support issues, and maintain correspondence. Our email service providers process the messages for delivery and storage and may operate outside your country. Only send information needed for your enquiry.

We retain emails and attachments indefinitely as a support and correspondence history unless you request deletion, subject to a specific legal or unresolved-dispute reason to keep particular records. This applies to player support, privacy requests, general or business enquiries, and internal beta-registration notification emails.

Your choices and security

Email privacy@lmccreativelabs.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to raise a concern. Identify the relevant correspondence; we may need proportionate verification. We will explain any information that must remain and why, and handle requests within applicable legal time limits. The data-deletion guide also covers our games.

This website uses HTTPS. Email and attachments are handled through our email providers; ordinary email is not guaranteed to be end-to-end encrypted. Do not send passwords, full payment details, or unnecessary sensitive documents. We do not sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to address a security incident or dispute.

Game privacy policies

Advertising and purchases inside the Android games are covered separately by the UNDERWAKE privacy policy and Lord Of The Sticks privacy policy.
